Overseen by the Property and Finance Commission, the following committees are responsible for various facets of Gloria Dei's operation:
The Property Committee manages the routine care and maintenance of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church building and grounds as well as the adjacent rental property. This group coordinates special property related projects at the church.
The Finance Committee develops the annual budget and monitors monthly financial reports.
The Investment Committee oversees the endowment fund and monitors the status of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church's investments.
The Stewardship Committee encourages and educates the parish toward growth in faithful stewardship.
Overseen by the Congregational Life Commission, the following committees are responsible for various facets of Gloria Dei's operation:
The Worship and Music Committee is responsible for the planning and offering of worship experiences
to meet the needs of all members in order that all may regularly avail themselves of Word and Sacrament;
the scheduling of all participants in these worship experiences; the maintenance of supplies for worship
services.
Parish Education Committee is responsible for the Sunday School, Adult Forum, Youth Group, Confirmation and Communion and Scholarships
Parish Life Committee is a group of small committees responsible for things like the Nursery, Coffee Service, Funerals, the Altar and WELCA.
